Job Description

Hilton Head Buick GMC Cadillac’s Service Department is seeking to hire a Service Appointment Coordinator. The Service Appointment Coordinator receives all incoming service calls, makes outbound calls to help increase business, establishes relationships with the customers and schedules appointments for the Service Department. Customer Service experience is a plus!

Day-to-day Responsibilities – Service Appointment Coordinator:

  • Greet customers in a friendly manner when they call
  • Ask the customer qualifying questions by following Call Scripts to uncover needs
  • Schedules service appointments
  • Ensures that Service Advisors receive messages promptly
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers so they can have a great service experience
  • Meet or exceed targeted appointment goals
  • Communicate frequently with parts associates to ensure special order parts arrive timely
  • Follow up with customers on their appointments, based on how the customer wants to be informed
  • Manages service loaner fleet

Requirements – Service Appointment Coordinator:

  • Customer service experience a plus!
  • Ability to read, write, add, subtract, divide and comprehend written instructions and information
  • Ability to achieve targeted goals
  • Basic computer skills – Windows, email
  • Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Previous Call Center experience or automotive industry experience preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license, High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident
  • Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen
