Job Description
The principal responsibility of this position is to ship and receive parts and accessories as directed. This person must help maintain the physical inventory. The primary goals are to provide customer satisfaction (C.S.I.) and to support the dealership parts department distribution by the the department. In order to be successful, this person must fulfill the following key job elements and meet or exceed each job standard.
- Perform shipping and receiving activities
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
- Maintain and accurate inventory
- Maintain a clean and safe work place
Key Job Elements

- Inspect part shipments for damage
- Record any damage
- Reconcile picking tag to packing slip
- Record any shortages/overages
- Reconcile shipment number to delivery receipt
- Chek-in special orders first
- Tag special orders with customer information
- Locate special order by type
- Locate stock parts in proper bing
- Locate and put new stock away
- Ship out any packages per shipper requests
- Pull returns & properly tag
- Scrap warranty parts per policy and procedures

Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 2-5 years sales and customer service experience preferred but not required
- Automotive sales background a plus
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
- Strong written and communication skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
